Across the water filled pit to the room with the odd yellowish green light
- Torrych emerges from water, his fur soaked with water

PCs enter the room
- Large green sarcophagus dominates the centre of the room with yellow-green torches flickering in the corner
- Water now fills bottom two feet of the room, lapping at the sides of the coffin
- Sarcophagus lid held shut with latches around the perimeter
- Detect that the creature inside is “mostly dead” and there is an aura of transmutation magic
- Violet recalls hearing that the head cleric of the cult that worshipped Morghelos had magically changed himself and been locked away by the others

Opening the sarcophagus
- Unsurprisingly a creature emerges; appears to be a troll
- Violet hits it with a blast of magic and battle ensues
- Some damage to the party but eventually kill the creature (including its severed hand that clings to life)
- In the sarcophagus find a number of items, including a magical mace & maul

Take a short rest, sitting in the now empty coffin to keep dry
- Erki comes splashing in to let the group know that the airship has lost its air elemental crystal and isn’t going anywhere until it can be recovered. Believes it was stolen when trying to land causing him to crash
- Cyn gets a funny read off him. Thinking the worst he informs the others, who begin watching him closely, making Erki nervous
- Erki eventually comes clean and admits he is Arvid’s brother. He came here to try and stop whatever he is doing
- Arvid was once a “Gatekeeper” but joined a cult, “Children of Avassh”, who worship a daelkyr called Avassh the “Twister of Roots”
- Arvid’s pet frog is called Kulkrit, but is just a normal frog, nothing special
- Erki decides to go with PCs

Ascending to the upper floors
- Climb the vines that were in the room where PCs killed Durnn
- On the battlements of the old citadel.
- PCs, with Kama’s help, does some scouting
- Climbing a wall Kama comes across the Arboretum
- See what we presume is Arvid talking civilly to Sir Braford & Sharwyn. Not quite what was expected. Sir Braford & Sharwyn appear to have their skin turned to bark (assuming a Barkskin spell)
- Only one entrance to the Arboretum, away from the PCs, is visible
- Appears the only way forward is through some goblin living quarters
- Some discussion around just breaking through the glass of the Arboretum but decided against it
- Climbing a wall Kama comes across the Arboretum

Travel through the goblin living quarters
- Avoid most goblins, but the ones that notice just want to be left alone (LLOD-IV did bribe some with silver coins)
- Eventually find a small passageway out of the goblin area.
- Also find a hidden door that leads around the goblins

Enter an area with four smaller arboretums in octagonal rooms.

Enter another room that contains another dragon statue
- Violet reads the inscription which states “Let the sorcerous power illuminate my spirit!”. She doesn’t want to say it, so writes it on paper and shows the PCs
- LLOD-IV reads it out loud and receives a boon that increased her Charisma checks for a time (I think?)
- LLOD-IV also looks around the statue and finds gold & two flasks of alchemist’s fire
- Further on PCs encounter another door
- Seems to be some kind of library
- Piles of scrolls & torn books
- Able to find a few spell scrolls and a “Tome of Dragon Lore”

Back to the main hallway come to the end which is another door. This one is locked.
- Appears to line up with the entrance to the Arboretum but still a distance away
- Torrych uses his newfound magical lockpicks to open the door
- Enter what appears to be a study or office with soil on the floor
- Bookcases and small plants line the room
- On a desk is an open book that is titled “Treasures of the Fire Lords”
- Violet flips a page, triggering a trap that floods the room with ice. She goes unconscious.
- Cyn is able to heal her to bring her up. (What happened to the book?)

Erki states the PCs should consider recovering themselves before encountering his brother
